the Eiffel Tower all lit up The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris all over the world. It is fun to think that it started with the idea of building a bridge vertically. That should tell us that there are no crazy ideas.	A storm coming over the Invalides This is the tomb of Napolean. I loved the storm clouds, and the tiny tourist taking a picture gives us a scale of the monument. It embodies how people must have felt as Revolutions swept across Europe and Napolean took power.	Sunset over the Seine People live in those river boats. It is actually more comfortable that I thought. You feel special when you are having dinner looking at the water rather than over the water.
Bakery next to Parc Montsouris All organic, delicious bread baked in a wood fire oven. She was lovely.	Epicerie in Montparnasse I took pictures of hundreds of store keepers. I love them, they give life to Paris. They were always welcoming and graceful.	Brasserie Le Nemours, Palais Royal Across from the Louvre is one of the most charming garden of Paris: The Palais Royal. Le Nemours is at the entrance of the garden.
The Fair at Parc de Belleville I imagine the two of them to be brother and sister. It must be fun to have an older sister playing with you at the Fair.	Lovers in the Jardin Porte Maillot You can find Love anywhere in Paris. Just a bench and a few trees are enough to create the right setting.	Lovers in the Parc de Belleville A lazy afternoon in the vast Parc de Belleville in the Eastern part of the city. It's one of the few park that has real hills.
Blond in Bois de Boulogne Beautiful trees, beautiful girl lounging in the afternoon.	A Woman in the Parc Citroen She had the most beautiful back. She was on the phone when I approached her to ask if I could take a picture. She said ok with no hesitation and a little smile. Continued to talk on the phone while I was snapping pictures of her, then we said goodbye with just a nod to say thank you. She made my day on that sunny August afternoon.	Shadow portrait in Fontainebleau Very early morning view of the Fontainebleau Castle from the garden. You can see my shadow in the left corner. Fontainebleau is less than one hour from Paris, and truly worth the visit.
Inside the Chateau de Fontainebleau Just arrived really early and was the first to enter the Chateau. Took the picture when nobody was yet in room.	Chateau de Versailles early morning I was first at the gate, even before it opened. The early sun light gives a nice pink glow on the pavement.	Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte A little under one hour from Paris, not far from Fontainebleau is hte Chateau de Vaux Le Vicomte which has one of the most beautiful garden. Here is the view at sunset. Magical.
Chateau de Brouay, Normandy We could not have dreamed a better moonlight on that summer night. I ran out with my camera, laid low in the wet grass to catch the reflection of the light in the pound. It feels cozy being inside that adorable castle not far from the D-Day beaches of Normandy. The owner makes excellent Calvados liquor.	Louvre, Egyptian Cat Difficult to imagine that they could create such a perfect cat statue 5000 years ago.	Marine Museum Female Figurehead The most beautiful figurehead. Sure to distract any evil that might come in the boat's way.
Delicious Meringues in Montparnasse Simply the most enticing meringues in the display of a charming bakery in Montparnasse. Looking at the picture makes my mouth water.	Biscuit with Strawberry Jam The taste of my childhood. Delicious.
